New Zealand Sphagnum moss is a versatile product renowned for its remarkable natural properties; it is long lasting with an excellent water holding capacity. Besgrow Spagmoss is a natural, renewable product harvested sustainably from wetlands on the pristine West Coast of New Zealand’s South Island.

Sphagnum moss common uses:
- growing orchids and other moisture loving plants.
- sustains growing environments for plants.
- popular growing substrate for climbing plants often used in moss poles.
- propagation substrate as it retains long lasting moisture.
- decorative uses in florestry,  kokedama and hanging baskets.
 
Preparation:
- Simply soak in water until fully absorbed.
- 150g brink makes 12L spaghnum moss volume.
- For best results, soak in warm water. The moss will expand as it absorbs water.
- Gently squeeze out excess water before use leaving a light, evenly damp substrate.
- Only hydrate the required amount and store the dried remainder for a longer shelf life. 
- Tip: Sphagnum moss little to no nutrients of its own, so we highly recommend adding fertiliser when soaking the moss. Our preference fertiliser is Growth Technology CCS.
